How can I get started?

If you are interested in partnering with us, please schedule some time to talk to Jim. We will start with a pilot list and campaign goal. This could be automating personalized messaging, deepening connections with your personal LI connections, reactivating past customers, helping a B2B sales team more effectively network with a target persona, etc.

Where does this software fit in my sales stack?

Contact Intelligence is the category we are in. But we’re closer to “SDR Agent” in our roadmap to be a more end-to-end solution.

We use Pitch Mesh internally for clients in done-for-you or done-with-you outreach services, where nuance matters in complex B2B sales.

What are “Campaigns” and how do I use them?

Campaigns don’t do much yet. We know, they’re confusing in the UI and will be refactored to come after enrichment as a way to direct AI agents doing more system 2 thinking around outreach strategy, like making recommended bulk actions for one group, but cautioning against it for another.

What are “ICPs” for?

Right now “ICPs” is like a “saved search” you can use against a database or list of uploaded contacts. It’s smart because it uses a hybrid approach of traditional filtering on things like job titles, departments, industries, but then it also allows us to check a qualitative description against that contact list.

Why this tool? Why not just use Instantly, Apollo, Lemlist, SalesLoft, etc.

It is entirely unremarkable how AI in sales is being done. Everyone is using these great low friction built-in “scale your cold email” all-in-one tools and one click “generating an ice breaker.” AI should be enabling more meaningful connections, so we’re different:

  1. List Building Ideal users for Pitch Mesh already have “too many lists” between cold lists, conference lists, past customer lists, existing networks, etc. That said, we often handle cold email and LI profile list building as a service for clients.
  2. Under the hood How we approach collecting, verifying, and mapping out a knowledge base as entities and relationships in a graph / network structure is far more effective than what most tools are doing (vector db similarity search).
  3. Matchmaking First No one else is identifying which of your reps is most likely to close a given prospect. This is central to our approach. Imagine Netflix style movie recommendations for which SDR should contact which lead.
  4. Sender Aware Your data is just as important to account for when planning an outreach method or choosing what type of contact enrichment to do. “What do you have in common with the person you are emailing?” “What case study would be most relevant to their company?” These are hard questions to ask, so no one else does.

Who are you?

Pitch Mesh is bootstrapped by the team at Inbound Found, a boutique digital marketing and web dev firm based in Philly, established in 2014. You can learn more on our (very outdated) website.

We started development in July 2024. Jim Thornton, the founder (me) has been doing outreach in one form or another for fifteen years, information architecture for five, working with graph database technology for four years, NLP for three, and for the past two I have been obsessed with Gen AI, GraphRAG, and the idea of creating a virtuous cycle between AI agent teams and on-demand knowledge bases creation, enrichment, verification, and ultimately retrieval.
